Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions With These Top Mobile Apps
Dec 19, 2012 | Mobile & Web
With the excess of the holidays about to come to a crashing halt post-January 1st, it’s time to get serious about making (and keeping) our New Year’s Resolutions. Lucky for us there’s plenty out there in the mobile app space to help us create and stick to our goals for 2013. These are my top three favorite apps to help keep the motivation going:
- For those of you who are trying to shed a few pounds in the coming year try the Fooducate app. With a built-in barcode scanner this app gives a letter grade to everyday grocery store items as well as detailed descriptions of the item’s ingredients and how beneficial or detrimental they are to your health.
- If you find yourself having a difficult time staying within your budget, then download the Mint app and start tracking your spending. This app compiles all of your bank and credit card accounts into a single statement along with analytical tools that categorize and graph each purchase to help make it easy to stick to your financial plan.
- If you don’t have any specific goals you’re trying to keep this year, then try downloading the Pay it Forward app. With daily reminders that prompt you to perform a small act of kindness, such as putting quarters in a random person’s empty parking meter, the goal of this app is to make the world a better place for everyone.
